Sankalp Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Sankalp mobile application (“App”) operated by the developer of Sankalp (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

The service

Sankalp helps you practice likhit japa and related devotional habits. Features may change over time (updates via app stores or over-the-air updates). Optional account features may require internet access.

Your content and conduct

• You are responsible for the sankalp text and notes you enter in the App.
• Use the App lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse our systems or third-party sign-in providers.
• Optional sign-in links your device session to a cloud account; keep your device and sign-in credentials secure.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. You must provide accurate information where requested. You may sign out at any time. You may request deletion of cloud account data as described in our Privacy Policy. Local devotional data may remain on your device after cloud deletion.

Intellectual property

The App, its branding, bundled content, and software are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your private devotional practice.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” for spiritual practice support. It is not medical, legal, or professional advice. Reminder and notification delivery depends on your device and OS settings; we do not guarantee delivery at exact times in all conditions.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the claim (or zero if the App was free).

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue features if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated in-app or via store release notes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
